A couple of weekends ago we went to Cedar City to watch my brother Cody and his wife, Jana, graduate from SUU. They both got their Masters in Accounting, which was so awesome! They worked so hard, we are proud of them!
Dave and I always like to go back to Cedar and relive the memories of when we were first married and in college. SUU was a great school for us and we loved living in Cedar. Life was so simple when we lived there, we spent most of our time at the school, but when we weren't studying we went to Zion's National Park and also St. George for the temple and shopping. We also rode our bikes and hiked in the mountains of Cedar City. Although at the time life didn't seem so simple, I compare it to our life now and it really was.
However, I don't miss studying one bit. David joked that after we got married if he wanted to hang out with me he had to go to the library, so his grades instantly went up the semester we got married! I love that we both got our degrees from SUU.
My parents and Grandpa and Grandma Sweat came for the graduation as well and it was really fun to go to the lunch with them and see them, even if it was just a quick visit.
We even ran into my good friend Kolbi and her husband Tyler and son Ryker. They were are the graduation for Tyler's brother. It was fun to talk in the hallway of graduation as we were chasing our kids! Times sure have changed since our days as roommates in college!
