Summer is Here

Summer is in full swing and we are enjoying every minute of it. We finished our backyard last Fall, so this is our first summer to have it completed. Every day Madi asks for a "pop" to go eat outside on the grass. It is hard for me to say no because I love Popsicles as much as she does! Last week we had some friends, Kurt Jordan and their son Kru stay with us. We also had Dave's brother Bart and his wife Lori and their kids stop by on their way to Disneyland. Madi loves to have friends come over and play with her and usually cries when they leave. She has still not stopped talking about her friends and cousins!

Madi and Kru patiently waiting for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. After dinner they ran wild through the Forum Shops egging each other on. It was pretty fun to watch.

Nothing better than fresh peas from the garden! We were so excited to have our garden actually grow! It was our first try and we were pretty happy with the results. Madi wants to go out every day and pick peas.
