For Halloween we went to the ward trunk or treat, had a little party at our house and also took Madi and Brock around trick or treating. We all had a lot of fun with Halloween this year. We are now looking forward to the upcoming holidays and all the fun and parties that come with this time of year. We are enjoying life and can't get enough of both kids. Brock is such a mellow, calm baby. He goes with the flow and loves to be around Madi. He just started rolling over and loves to grab his toes. Madi speaks mostly in complete sentences now and also thinks she is too old for napping. She has given them up the past week, which has been really depressing for me. With Brock still eating a couple of times at night, I really looked forward to her naps. Other than that, life is good.

Happy Halloween
We had a pretty eventful October. David was out of town for work about half the month at different places including, Santa Cruz, Louisiana, and Kansas City. The kids and I headed up to Heber while he was gone and saw my grandparents as they had just returned from their mission in Nauvoo. We all had fun spending quality time with lots of our family.

The kids, right before trick or treating. Madi was a monster again this year, she loved her costume and it still fit. Brock was a bear.
No more pictures mom!

Me and the kids at the Trunk or Treat... David had to miss it, he was in Louisiana :(
In front of our church on Halloween.
Madi's little Halloween Party.
Hanging out at Grandma Sweat's house.
Showing off her her haul! I don't know who likes candy more, Madi or her mom?

They look cute in their costumes!
Cute kids! It looks like they might have been a little warm there for those "utah" costumes!
About Madi's naps! I think it might be a phase! Aliya did the same thing for a while. Don't give up! You need the time to yourself and for an occasional nap here and there! Someone told me that if they aren't taking a nap, try to wake them up earlier so they will take a nap! Worth a shot!
both your kids are soo cute!
i remember helping pick out madi's costume in st. george with you and it looks adorable!
Madi's little personality in these photos just about kills me.....she is a hoot!
I swear sleep (and sleep deprivation) has been one of the hardest battles for me as a mom. Good luck with Madi's naps. I'm so NOT ready to give up Ryker's nap. In fact, I wish it were longer. Maybe try giving her the option of a nap or quiet time in her room? That way you still get some mommy-time.....Good luck!!
