Santa Came and Santa Went...

We had a great Christmas this year! We stayed in Midway for 10 days and did so many fun things. For Christmas this year Madison and Brock got lots of fun new toys and clothes that quickly filled up our play room. While we were on our little vacation, David and his family went skiing, David took Madi sledding a couple of times, including Soldier Hollow where you can be really lazy and get pulled up the hill every time, built snowmen and spent tons of time in the snow. Christmas pajamas

There was so much snow in Midway, and it was perfect packing snow for a snowman!
Madi's cousin Aubrey (they are only three weeks apart). We didn't plan this, but they had the same pajamas.

My brother Carson with Brock and Cam. My favorite thing to watch was Carson holding Cam while he danced. He would get the biggest grin on his face and kick his legs, it was so funny.My grandparents also bought a wagon and a couple of Clydesdale horses that pulled us around like a real sleigh ride. It was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. At one point my mom was standing up on the sled holding Brock and the horses jolted to start going which caused my mom to fall out of the wagon onto the asphalt road. She twisted in mid air and landed on her hip. Luckily her motherly instincts kicked in and she held Brock tight to body and he was unharmed. She only had a few bruises, which is a blessing. It was pretty scary to watch it happen. We all really enjoyed our holiday break this year. David took two weeks off work, so we felt like it was a REAL good break.
This last picture is the Christmas Card we sent out this year. It's amazing they are both looking at the camera at the same time and not crying. They aren't exactly smiling, but I will take it!
