Brock 18 Months

Brock turned 18 months on Sunday. He went to his first day of nursery and had a great time. His teacher said he acted a little tired, but since we have 11:00 church, it's going to be like that all year. Brock has really turned from a baby to a little boy these past few months. He has started copying words that we say and really holding his own especially with Madison. We got a little kid sized table and both kids eat all their meals on it, no more high chair for Brock. His favorite place to play is still outside and lately we have been spending all our mornings at the park. He it taking a 2-3 hour nap during the day and sleeping around 12 hours at night. He is a good little sleeper, and it is so nice! The kids don't really play that well together, if Brock has anything Madi likes, she wastes no time in taking it away from him, so Brock has also learned to take things from her and run! It's funny for a minute, but the constant whining and screaming gets old! At his last dr appt he weighed 26 lbs (50 percentile) is 33 1/4 inches tall (75 percentile) and his head is 19 1/2 (90 percentile). Brock is my little buddy and I just love how caring of a boy he is. Whenever we see babies, he loves them immediatley and gives them hugs and kisses. He also loves balls! Dave and him will play catch and David tells him to go deep and he runs away and turns around to catch the ball. He is a real daddy's boy lately and wants to do everything David does. We love our little Brocky!

Sweet little buddy! I think before long, Madi won't be able to get away with stealing toys. Brock will one day hold his own :)
