Happy Birthday Madi!

Madi turned 6 this year! She was in love with Frozen like everyone else and wanted it to be the theme of her party.  Although she wanted an Elsa Party, not Anna!  We are fairly new in the neighborhood, but Madi has managed to make lots of friends already to invite.  We did Frozen themed games including a scavenger hunt, Elsa necklaces, painting Elsa nails and dancing.  The girls all had a blast and Madi enjoyed every second of it, although opening presents was of course her favorite!  On her actual birthday, my Aunt CoriAnn and cousin Lizzy happend to be in town and came over to the house for some pizza and rootbeer floats. At six years old Madi weighs 47 lbs (65%) and is 44 1/2 inches tall (37%).  She started gymnastics this month and is loving it. She loves our new neighborhood where she has more freedom to play with friends and ride her bike.  She loves to be read to, especially the Junie B. Jones series and is becoming a helper to me. Her interests right now are cooking, climbing, gymnastics, hiking, riding bikes and watching cooking shows on You Tube.  She is the best finder in the house, and if we lost anything, we first ask Madi, and if she doesn't know (oftentimes it's because she also hides stuff in her room), we say a prayer.  She is doing so well in kindergarten and gets to walk to school with her friend Jenna. I walk her home everyday where she tells me all about her day and all the things that bother her (the list is really long sometimes)! Madi's grandma's sent her money for her birthday, and her and I had fun shopping and getting her shopkins (her latest obsession).  We sure love our Madi girl!  She makes us enjoy life more with her enthusiasm and drive!
