Our month in pictures... January is my least favorite month of the year, but we made it through and it actually wasn't so bad. Grandma and Grandpa Gertsch came to visit as well as Uncle Paul and Aunt Teri. We never want for visitors, and I really do love having people come, even though I do my fair share of complaining about having to get the house so clean! Nothing motivates me more to clean than knowing people are coming to look at it! We hiked Shini Kob, which is the mountain we look at everyday from our dinner table. It was a fun little hike, maybe a mile or so, but it was straight up. My kids are mountain goats and did great, even though Madi was really pretty sick. Her energy level on sick mode is more in line with an average person, so she still did really well! Hiking and being outdoors with my kids is one of my favorite things to do.
