At the end of summer, my brother Shane and his family decided to make the long trip to Utah from Iowa to visit family. It had been close to two years since we had seen them, so we were pretty excited to come to Heber for the weekend. And since everyone in my family would be in town, my mom wanted a family picture. We had a lot of fun and used up every last minute in our quick trip. On our way to Heber, we stopped at the University Mall so Madi and Brock could do a build a bear. Madi has had her birthday party planned for a year, so since we were so close to a build a bear, we let her do one a little early. She was in heaven choosing everything for her bear and playing in the store. She is obsessed with stuffed animals, so this was the perfect present for her. She chose a heart bear with a birthday shirt and tutu, and Brock chose a fishing outfit. Afterwards we ate in the food court and got ice cream at Cold Stone. It was a fun little night. The rest of the weekend was filled with four wheeling in the mountains, lots of little kids and good food. On Sunday we had a family picture right before church and dinner afterwards. We stayed pretty late and didn't get home until after one am, but it was sure fun to catch up with my family.
