Merry Christmas

For Christmas this year we stayed at my parents house and my whole family was home. It was a lot of fun to have everyone together since it had been a long time. My brother Shane and his wife Lynette had a new baby in September and it was so much fun to have him around. Madi loved her new little cousin Cam and whenever she would hear him would start saying "baby" and go find him to make sure he was okay. She had fun opening her presents and seeing all the new fun toys she got.

Here she is with baby Cam. My grandparents are on a mission in Nauvoo and sent all the little girls these cute pioneer bonnets and Cam got a little Sheriff badge. This is the only picture I got with the two of them together, it was too dangerous to have Madi that close to him for long! He is a really good baby and doesn't cry very much, so too bad I had to catch it on camera!

Do you think she likes the new farm animal set???

The day after Christmas my whole family on my mom's side went to Monument Valley, Utah for a little family reunion. My grandma planned the whole thing and it turned out really fun. It was so pretty there, a bit on the cold side, but we still had a good time. As you can see Madi loved playing in the snow, but she did not like to be cold. But she is a Vegas girl, so what can you expect?

Hiking in one of the arches, very fun! From left to right, Cody, Carson, me, Madi and David.

David trying to keep Madi warm on our tour! We spent a lot of time in the heated buses looking out the windows! We had such a good Christmas this year, one of our best yet. David had been working in San Diego for 7 weeks up until December 23. It seemed like he was gone forever! So it made Christmas that much more fun. I love the holidays, but I am looking forward to a great 2010!
