Memorial Day Weekend

Ella was five weeks old when Memorial Day Weekend rolled around and we were all starting to feel a little stir crazy. At the last minute David booked a couple rooms in St. George for a getaway.  Since Ella is so new and still waking up several times at night to eat, we got two adjoining rooms and it worked out great.  While we were in St. George, the kids swan twice a day, we ate at Texas Roadhouse, hiked and road scooters in Snow Canyon, played at Sand Hollow, did a little shopping, hung out with the Porter's at their house in St. George, and drove to Pinto, Utah to check out where I will be taking the YW in my ward to Girl's Camp at the end of June.  It was a super packed trip, and also our first time traveling with the three kids.  All in all it turned out really well. Ella is still pretty portable and can sleep anywhere, so it was nice.  I'm glad that Dave pushed us to get out and take a little trip.
